OAK CREEK LABORATORY
The Oak Creek Laboratory of Biology is located 4 miles west of the
Oregon State University Corvallis campus. A complex of ten buildings
are positioned at the southern entrance to MacDonald-Dunn Forest
off of NW Oak Creek Drive. The buildings were formerly used for studies
of aquatic ecology and toxicology, but water supply limitations have
forced the move of such studies to other facilities. The buildings
are now used for storage and research activities of three faculty
and several graduate students from the Department of Fisheries and
Wildlife.
Currently, most activities are limited to the main building, which
possesses office space, a conference room, kitchen, attic, and basement.
The building has one phone line and an Ethernet connection. The former
chemistry lab is being cleaned up and will be used for other research
activities. Other buildings are now used for storage.
We have been working to revitalize this great site. Most of the
Robinson lab group has office space here.
