Photographs from FW 107 Orientation to Fisheries and Wildlife
These photographs show a recent field trip to the E. E. Wilson Wildlife Refuge. Students helped the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife with a warmwater fish management project. Students helped thoroughly seine one of the ponds in order to remove any fish, which in the past included
largemouth bass, bluegill, redear sunfish, and catfish. They sorted the catch, counted fish, took measurements and weighed fish before helping to relocate them to the angling pond.
