Fisheries and Wildlife Receives Top National Rankings
The November 16, 2007 issue of the Chronicle of Higher Education (http://chronicle.com/stats/productivity) reviewed a faculty productivity analysis of 375 colleges and universities and provided national rankings in 173 disciplines. The Wildlife Sciences program at OSU was ranked number one in the country and our Fisheries Sciences program was ranked number two. Only three other universities in the country ranked in the top 10 in both disciplines.

Rebecca Goggans received the 2007 Student Chapter Advisor of the Year Award from The Wildlife Society. Rebecca is the internship coordinator for Fisheries and Wildlife students and is also the Leader of the Fisheries and Wildlife Club.
Carl Schreck was honored by the 2007 Western Division of the American Fisheries Society for excellence in scientific achievement.
